Create limited editor role

  • Hi. Please I want to be able to give 3 users the capability to edit posts but NOT have access to all other admin capabilities. Please how do I set the plugin to show the 3 users the list of posts so that they can edit them?

    Create a new role as a copy of ‘editor’ role. Then exclude from it all user capabilities with ‘pages’ inside. Test it. If you wish to exclude to other menu items too proceed with exclusion of unneeded capabilities, like, manage_terms, upload_files, etc.
