create menu in footer

@electric feet: I was able to create a secondary menu, but, somehow it is not displaying properly.

Firstly,I need to display in the footer line only (not below footer). For eg: Copyright site name. Contact us | Sitemap. Back to top

Secondly, how to add ‘|’ separator between the two pages in menu like:
Contact us | Sitemap.

For the horizontal bar, most people do this with a CSS rule on the lit item of the menu. Use Firebug or Chrome/Safari developer tools to get the exact CSS (I’m on a tablet right now and cannot pick it out myself).
