Create new anchors in child theme

I’m using the Zerif lite parallax theme. I’m having issues with a Home and Episodes anchor with the existing theme anchors/sections. Not sure how to put it into my child theme to make it work properly. Currently I have the About linked to #aboutus and contact to #contact which is great because it works, but how do I link a home to the top “Big Title” section and have my podcast episodes show up in the “focus” section with my player without going to an ugly seperate blog page that I don’t want. Confused for sure!

Menu I’m trying to get with corrosponding sections:
Home Episodes About Contact

I would also like to have my latest episode displayed in the “latest news” section, but don’t know if that’s possible without a “Blog” page. Thanks for any help I’m desperate. Looking up stuff for hours to no avail.
