    Hi,
I am using your ubuntu VM and followed your tutorial. The wordpress site loads up correctly on my dev system on windows. I added your reactpress plugin. When I am creating a new app, it creates the package.json file and the node_module folder in my app directory but then it deletes the whole app folder straight after creating the node_module folder. So I can’t start/build my app on my dev system

Have you got any idea of what can cause the issue please ?

Can you try and give the VM more RAM – maybe 2 GB.

I am planning to publish a new version of ReactPress over the weekend, that will allow you to use create-react-app right in the apps directory.

I hope, that users won’t need the VM anymore.

Thank you for your help. I could not get it running even with more memory… I test it again if you release a version without VM

The new release is out. This release does change to way to use ReactPress and gives you much more control.

It should solve a lot of issues with using ReactPress in local development environments like Local, DevKinsta, and similar.

Nonetheless, backward compatibility should be given.

Thanks Rockiger, this now works with your VM & Chrome. I could not update the url-slug on Edge…
