Create new theme from nothing: how can i start? Thanks

How familiar are you with PHP, JS, and CSS?

It’s common to begin with a starter theme like Underscores or Bones. They give you a lot of useful code to start with and you can easily add or remove parts as needed. Beyond that, I’d recommend just reading the documentation and reading code from other themes.

Yep, i know them!
So from a parent theme? Because i start with a default theme…from a child that i’ve create but it has a lot of elements pointless.

Neither Underscores or Bones are meant to be parent themes or even usable themes on their own. They’re both deliberately bare-bones, providing just enough code to get started.
