    HI,
    Such a great plugin. Congratulation.

    I have a scenario here:
#1. Someone has to register to the site user when he wants to subscribe to a membership. So he has to register as FREE PLAN and get the site credential.

#2. Right after he successfully logged in, he allegedly to register for the plan with an ‘infinite paid plan’ as lifetime membership. I called it ‘BASIC PLAN’.

#3. We have a PREMIUM PLAN (as an add-on to the BASIC PLAN) with some additional privileges that cannot found in the BASIC PLAN. Thus, everyone who wants to subscribe to be PREMIUM has to logged-in as a BASIC member (mandatory).

As I used the free version of ARMember plugin, I cannot find how to achieve those scenarios. Especially for scenario #3, because the BASIC PLAN has no option to make ‘upgrade’ configuration (since it is an infinite-paid membership).

Have I missed something? or is the scenario can be achieved only if I buy PRO version?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for appreciating ARMember Plugin!

As I understood from given scenario, you want to allow purchase “PREMIUM PLAN” only if member has purchased “BASIC PLAN”. If that is the case then ARMember already provides facility to display content based on member having membership plan.

So you can achieve this by adding Restrict content shortcode which you can add from WordPress -> Add/Edit Post/Page page above classic editor click on “Restrict Content” shortcode OR for Gutenberg Editor click on Add Block -> ARMember Blocks -> Restrict Content button. After that select “Restriction Type” and “Target Users”.

So create two setup form from ARMember Lite -> Configure Plan + Signup form page and after that add setup form shortcode in restrict content shortcode according to your requirements.

Please follow accordingly and I think you can achieve what you want.

    Thanks

Thank you @reputeinfosystems for the help.
My issue is not restriction content, but the membership model.

I will make a clearer description of the scenario:
We are a community. All the community member is MANDATORY to register/join with a signup fee of $10 (lifetime). And as a member, they have to pay monthly a payable amount of $50 monthly.

What I do is, each member has to register with plan #1 – (signup $10 lifetime), and then they do the next step after logging in to register/update to plan #2 – (recurring $50).

All I want to achieve is, how to make simple the proses, so I want to combine that two-step registration into one registration process…

Can we configure a group plan with a signup fee + recurring plan in single package?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

To combine both process in single package, you can achieve this using trial period in subscription membership plan. ARMember Lite does provide facility to enable trial period which you can set 30 days including your setup fee + monthly charges in trial amount which will charge first time and after that month member will charge as set in subscription amount. That’s it.

    Thanks,
