Create separate Albums

Hello. What are the steps to create separate albums? I need to create different albums using the portfolio 4 theme on each. I have to put each album on a separate WP portfolio page to create pagination. I have many portfolio images and have to break them up onto several pages (10 images per page). I created 5 different portfolios to display 10 images on each, but it is not working..
