• I have set the affiliate dashboard to show on specific pages using shortcode, not on the my-account page from YITH settings. Now the problems am facing are:

    1) User has to go to my-account page to logout which can be confusing for a brand ambassador (I want affiliate dashboard to be independent of my-account for login/signup).
    2) If the solution for problem (1) is not possible then help me to achieve this:
Scenario: Let’s suppose brand ambassador logout from the affiliate program through my-account page and log in again from there for the purpose of checking his/her affiliate dashboard.

Problem: The main problem is that after loging in there is no indicator/option for the brand to navigate to affiliate dashboard. It can be only done manually going to affiliate page using menu which will be confusing for a person who intended to log in to access the affiliate dashboard.
but in this case, he/she has to go to my-account page for purpose of accessing the affiliate dashboard which does not relevant in the first place and then he/she has to navigate to affiliate program manually which can be confusing too.

  • Hi there,
    Thank you for contacting us!

Why the user needs to logout? I do not understand that part.

Indeed the affiliate dashboard is a different thing from the normal my account page, and if you want them on different pages, that’s the way it will work. If the user logs in, then it has to visit the Affiliate dashboard manually, that’s why it usually is placed inside my account page directly.

Please, explain to me a but more so I can try to help you.

    Have a nice day!

    Thanks, for you your response.
In short, I just wanted the affiliate dashboard to be independent of my-account for login/signup which I have seen on many sites, some brands redirect Brand Ambassadors to sub-domain i.e. affiliate.example.com, with the affiliate link to the main site and calculate affiliate stats on the sub-domain site, and some brands keeps the brand ambassador at the main domain but the affiliate dashboard is independent of the normal user account, Although platforms are different like Shopify or Magento, am sure there will be some WordPress sites too which have these functionalities. But I guess that’s not possible with YITH & WooCommerce for now.

I always seek to use YITH plugins more than any other plugin and no doubt YITH WooCommerce Affiliate is still one of the best plugins for affiliates but this specific functionality couldn’t be achieved.

    Hi there,

Indeed, that’s not possible with our plugin. It could be with maybe a developed API to communicate both plugins, which our plugin does not have.

If the affiliate takes the link from one site, but it redirects to other sites, the affiliate needs to be exactly the same in both sites.

Glad to be able to at least clear your doubts.
    Have a nice day!
