Sorry, I don’t understand anything here. You say https://www.remotefirstcoaching.com/blog/how-to-manage-a-micromanager-boss is returning a 404, but it is working fine. Redirection does not affect the target page, and has nothing to do with what is shown when you hover over something.

    What redirect isn’t working?

All the redirects I created are working, but when I look in the 404 section, every redirect I create is also creating a 404 error for a URL I didn’t create (I don’t know how these are being created), in this case /blog/how-to-manage-a-micromanager-boss?– it’s taking the last part of the URL I did create and appending it to https://www.vocationvillage.com/blog – I don’t know why. This is is separate from the working redirect. I don’t know if this matters because I don’t think this ghost URL is out in the world, but if I can prevent it from happening, I would like to do so.

What appears in the 404 log is not connected to your redirects. I don’t know why those requests are being made. All the available information is in the log and maybe it can suggest if there are bad links on your site that need fixing. Otherwise it’s just something you can ignore.

    Okay, that helps. Thank you.
