• After uninstalling W3TC, directives were still in my htaccess. using curl myhomepage.com it returned another page of my website instead of homepage.
Also, I used it with WPML and it returned 301 status with the actual content rather than no content. 301 HTTP means redirect, it was not 200 found.

    Hello @bloup

    Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately, this is all caused by misconfiguration of the plugin. I’ve tried to find a forum topic regarding this issue but was unable to find one.
We are always more than happy to assist you with the configuration of the plugin and provide support.
In fact, W3 Total Cache has a WPML extension that can be activated to improve the caching performance of websites localized by WPML.
W3 Total Cache also has an Aliases option for this purpose.
W3 Total Cache is the most complex and complete caching plugin and it’s not a “one-click ” solution because the optimal configuration depends on many factors, including of course the hosing which can cause some leftover rules in .htaccess.
Be that as it may, we would be more than happy to assist you with any question you have regarding the configuration.
    Thanks!
