Creates whitespace in XML (and perhaps other) file output

  • On my WordPress installation, this plug-in was causing two serious issues:

    1) It generates whitespace at the first character of XML file output (and, I suspect, php output, etc.). This renders XML sitemaps dead.

    2) It was preventing the image from appearing on the Edit Image page, in the media browser. This made it impossible to edit images within WordPress.

    As this is an outdated plug-in, I do not recommend using it, in light of the above issues. If it causes those issues (both somewhat serious issues), then what other problems might it be causing?
