Creating a bilingual website

    We have a website which is currently in English. We have now had the text translated into Spanish. We would like to run the Spanish and English websites from the same domain. What would be the best way to do this so that when the user clicks the right button the text reverts to their language? Is it possible to have the language recognised automatically by the browser/ip address?

    As last resort I could just create two separate websites with two separate domains, but I’d rather not do this… How do professional web site designers deal with this problem?
