Creating a Blog Flow

  • I have a client and they have what looks like a blog roll at https://tinyurl.com/gpefnw6.

    However, the client tells me the posts are not rolling, not going from page to page on their own.

    They are manually entering each post on the page they want it to show on.

    I haven’t seen exactly how it’s set up. Do I need to do that first, or is there is plugin or setting to make the posts roll from page to page?

  • Sorry Pranaman but your question is really confusing.

    First off, a ‘blogroll’ is a list of offsite links and was a standard feature years ago, now no longer included.

    When you say “make the posts roll from page to page” I really have no idea what you’re referring to – do you mean the pagination at the bottom of their short list of posts?

    Or are you talking about some sort of ‘slider’ functionality? It would help if you can provide an example of what you want the outcome (goal) to be to help us figure out how to help you get from A (what it is now) to B (what you want it to be).

    And yes, I would strongly encourage you to dig in and figure out how they set it up first – without knowing that you can’t really help them figure out how or where to make changes.
