creating a blog system using wordpress?

  • Hi everyone
    I’m quite new to this field of bloging and I already have one hell of a question:
    Is it possible (theoreticaly) to use wordpress to create a whole blog system? I mean like blogger?
    am I being stupid?
    is there a good book you know of that can teach me how to create such a thing?
