Creating a copy of a MAMP locally developed WP site

  • Can anyone help?

    I have built a website locally using MAMP on my Mac and in the process of trying to upload it to Bluehost I have played around too much with the wp-config file and database and now I cannot get it to display even locally via MAMP.

    All the wp-content of the site is still there though, so I was thinking can I just setup a newdatabase in MAMP, download a fresh install of WP to the root folder and then copy across the wp-content of my originally developed site. I tried that and its just showing the generic wordpress welcome page. Any idea what else I have to copy across to ‘clone’ my developed site? Thanks, Anna.
