    so if i create a template file and change the url to the search page where it should direct to, how would i implement the search bar on the home page? is there a specific shortcode for that?

    hi rampling, yes i see we almost try to achieve the same, only that i would like to have a

    – search bar,
    – the type of job checkboxes
    – and a search button

    on my homepage.

    There’s no specific shortcode for that, no. You will need to add the code shown in the tutorial to a template file that controlled the home page (either front-page.php or home.php).
