Creating a customised wordpress page template

  • Hi there,
    Im still quite new to wordpress customization & would like to know if it would be possible to create a page template similar to this one: https://www.google.co.uk/nexus/4. I have a new product website and im going to be showcasing 3 new products.
    I want it so that my admins can create a page similar to this and have different sections in rows as you can see on the Google page.
    one of my main concerns in the fact that there is only 1 title box and text box in the ‘add page’ section. How would i add the multiple rows for the page?

    Would this mean that the ‘add page’ text box would have to be full of html to do this? (for each row)

    Or would i be able to have multiple text boxes to add the content for each row into?

    Or would each row be a widget?

    Any help would be fantastic.

    What you’re asking for is a pretty big can of worms.
    One of the neatest ways I’ve seen this done is by using the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin.

    You can add numerous fields / sections to your page, including “repeater” fields, which allow you to add a variable number of new sections like the ones shown on the sample page you gave.
