Creating a link in html

I’m attempting to use this with a gravity forms confirmation. When you submit the form I have set a text area with a “click to watch” link that I’m trying to have a popup with a youtube video displayed.
When viewing the page source I’ve taken the div that activates the popup and used that as the confirmation text

It’s not working like this and am wondering if there is a way to get this to work. Thank you!
