• Hi there,

I would like to create a page on my site that has a magazine style layout (possibly like https://demo.wpzoom.com/?theme=manifesto, as an example). This will feature posts (with categories) that are entirely separate from the ones that I have in the blog (called Local Talent, which is already set up).

The reason why I want to do this is the blog page is for personal stories, while the magazine style page is for more general articles. Hopefully that makes sense, my site is https://www.northernsights.info if that helps (it is the Living in Manchester page I want to set up)

What would be the best way to go about this? I am hoping the layout stays fairly consistent with my theme as well.

Thank you very much for all your time and help.

  • Maybe use post categories for one and tags for the other? Otherwise, you’re going to have to get into custom taxonomies or custom post types and that’s non-trivial.

Sounds interesting, that certainly is a good idea.

Unfortunately I am a massive newb when it comes to these things…are there any good resources online where I can find information about this? And how to set it up?

    Thanks for your answer ??
