Creating a new Analytics account within Site Kit

    At present some users may encounter issues when trying to create a new Google Analytics account when setting up or editing the Analytics module within Site Kit. We are currently investigating this with the Analytics team and hope to have an update on this soon.?

    Either of the following workarounds are applicable:

    1. If you have already tried to create an Analytics account as part of the Site Kit setup or from the Analytics module within Site Kit:
      This account will still have been created. Visit your Site Kit dashboard once more, connect the Analytics module and select the newly created property. You will also need to select to create a new Analytics property and web data stream.
    2. If you have not yet tried to create an Analytics account as part of the Site Kit setup or from the Analytics module within Site Kit:
      Create a new Google Analytics account from the Google Analytics platform. Once created, the account will be available for selection within Site Kit. You can create a new property and web data stream from your Analytics account or from the Site Kit Analytics setup or settings screen.
