Creating a new news item automatically adds a redirect

Same over here. It’s very annoying having to remove the redirect every time after posting something. Is it possible to resolve this somehow?

Since the plugin author does not respond here or on Twitter, i moved to a plugin that actually works with multisite:

I ran into this with a client’s multi-site setup, too, I think starting with v2.3.14 of the plugin. It’s still happening in 2.3.16, but I just installed the latest zip from the author’s website (which is pointing at: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/redirection.zip). The reported version on the Plugins page is 2.4, and the problem has gone away! I don’t see an updated changelog yet, even though the file’s timestamp is June 7.

Hopefully this will help some folks until the official plugin page is updated.
