• I use bluehost. I upgraded to the 2.0 version recently and overal like it very much. The only thing I do not like vs the 1.5 release I was using is how things are done when writting a new post.

I do a lot of copy / past from post to post (for postcast stuff). And I have to do it all using the html source button otherwise it doesn’t copy over the links correctly. In the 1.5 version I could just copy everything and then past it into a new post and then edit away. It takes twice the effort to do the same thing in 2.0.

Is there a way to revert back to the 1.5 style of entering a new post vs the 2.0 style? I like everything else about the 2.0 release and would like to keep using those features.

  • You could try turning off the visual editor completely, and then you should have the normal old style post write box ..

That’s what you want right? Or am I mis-understanding your question .. ?

Fantastic. That’s exactly what I was looking for. For some reason I didn’t even look at the tabs when you click on options in the admin tool – which I did after reading your message. That’s exactly what I wanted.

Thanks – that solves my problem.
