Creating a page to list two recent posts from each category

Hi, we would like to create a page showing two recent posts (with photos) from each category. Is there a way to do this?

It somehow look like this:
latest cat 1
latest post 1
latest post 2latest cat 2
latest post 1
latest post 2latest cat 3
latest post 1
latest post 2..etc
