Thanks. I’ve looked at that resources and tried to find my answer, but couldn’t. Do you have any suggestions of where to look more specifically?

You’ll need a domain name and web hosting space.

if you’re installing wp for other people then they need to have:

a) a domain name
b) web hosting

you then install wp on their web hosting (not their own computer) and configure it for them from there. if you install it and configure it then as long as your client agrees you can create yourself a new admin account and tweak away ??
