  • Cant really help with question 1..sorry…but for a membership site, from what Ive seen in my somewhat limited time using wordpress..I suggest s2Member plugin. Its a little complicated in setup, and you may very well need to balance other plugins with it depending on what you ultimately allow your members to do on your site..but s2Member right out of the box is IMHO probably the most comprehensive membership plugin for WP available and is actively being improved.

To answer your first question, that site was not built using WordPress.

Is there a similar WordPress theme / database as:

    for WordPress?

    Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark..not a problem, happy to help/share my opinion.
I cant say if there is or isnt a WP theme to resemble the site in question, but you might look through the THEMES available here and Im sure you can find something close.

Also just a suggestion, but you might want to think more in terms of the membership or theme itself rather than “database” as the latter kind of distorts what you seem to be asking about. Yes, data from your plugins and themes can be (and usually is) stored within your database, but thats about as close to being relative as they get. Asking about a database brings forth a whole different issue and may not get you the response you need. ??
