Creating a wordpress website that doesn’t need to be updated

  • Good afternoon, I would like to know if there is a method a plugin something like this that makes the site “shielded”, I say that you don’t need to make the updates just create the site stay there in the same way, but without having to update themes, wordpress plugins between other updates. thanks

    In short, no.

    WordPress updates almost always include important security fixes: https://www.ads-software.com/news/category/security/

    While plugins and theme updates are less likely to include security fixes, it does happen from time to time.

    And, there’s no guarantee that how to exploit a specific security vulnerability is not already publicly known.

    WordPress can handle minor core updates (those that include only security and bug fixes, not new features), as well as plugin and theme updates, automatically and I recommend leaving it configured as such.

    It’s really the most important part of WordPress’s security measures.

    Meanwhile, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the other recommended security measures and perhaps start backing up your site.
