    Hi –

    Did you try using the queries at the bottom of the page?

    The examples there show how to create an administrator.

    If you want to simply change the role of the user you already created, you can use those examples to change the entries in wp_usermeta for wp_capabilities and wp_user_level. Those are the options that control the role.

    As always, though, be cautious in editing the database directly.
