    Hi guys,

I just wanna verify if I’m missing something or the option is not yet functional!

Everything on my end is set to allow new customers to create an account on checkout page but nothing is displayed even if the automatic password and username generator is off.

Normally, the customer should have the option to enter a password and username.

Actually, if the customer proceed with the checkout and purchase, he’s getting an email with a link to create a new password.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @logikconcept, thanks for posting your question. You are experiencing the expected behavior: with the new Checkout block we rebuilt the account creation flow to one that improves conversion. One of the actions taken is that the ‘Set password’ step has been moved out of the Checkout block and instead now it’s done as a follow-up action once the account has successfully created and the user validates the email.

Another advantage of this approach is that if the order can’t be completed for some reason (ie: payment method is invalid), there is no confusion if the user account was created or not.

Hope this explanation helps! I will proceed marking this issue as solved since this is the expected behavior.
