Creating an Evolve Full Width Page Template

I have created a new page template by removing:
`<?php if( evolve_lets_get_sidebar() == true): ?>
<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
<?php endif; ?>`
from the file page.php then saving it as page_fullwidth.php.

My goal was to have some pages display full width when I select this page template but now I just have a page where the sidebar doesn’t display and the empty space remains.

Please suggest a method to have a new page template, selectable from the Attributes menu that will allow my content to display full width.
