Creating another sidebar?

  • I’d like to know how one goes about adding a sidebar to the “other” side of the blog. For example, if my theme has a sidebar on the right, and I also want one on the left, how do I do it? Is it easy?

    you download another theme that has the number of sidebars you want.

    Yes, it’s as easy as browsing https://themes.wordpress.net

    In other words, if you have to ask how to do this, you are better off not to attempt it in the first place.

    and what does this have to with plugins and hacks???

    I don’t want to change my theme; I simply want to add an additional sidebar to my current theme. Understand?
