  • Are you saying you want it to look something like your page…
    https://www.bcn-nv.com/events/

    Try going to…
    Settings -> Formatting -> Event Categories…

    and look down for…
    “Event List Formats” -> “Default events list formats”
    and edit that.

    This should be very similar to how you set up the event list like you did for the above mentioned https://www.bcn-nv.com/events/,
    except with some minor adjustments.

    Barb,

    Let us know if @robswaimea’s reply didn’t help you.

    Thanks @robswaimea. @caimin_nwl I tried copying the events page settings but that didn’t work. Added different placeholders and that didn’t work either. Any light you can shed would be appreciated.

    Can you post the code / formatting you’re trying?

    Dear Ms Barb…
    I think you put your coding in the wrong place.
    It is a good practise to make notes of your changes.. make a text file… and put them in there.
    Copy the “old” code… so you can go back and “fix” if you make a mistake.

    So most likely you put your coding in a place you will need to correct.

    I looked at your site… and it still, is NOT how you wish it to be…

    Once again…
    Settings -> Formatting -> Event Categories…
    and look down for…
    “Event List Formats” -> “Default events list formats”
    and edit that.

    This is what, and is now on your site, that you will edit. Look for this code and it might help you figure out “where” to edit.
    #_CATEGORYNOTES<h3>Upcoming Events</h3>#_CATEGORYNEXTEVENTS

    As a little side note… I often through in some “dummie” code when I am exploring things like this… so maybe I can find what I have done.
    Like this…
    <br>Boogalloo... Bagalloo... Bagallooo....

    Because I am always trying to learn new things… your post interested me.. as I had not done it.

    With that said, I was successful in what your are trying to do with little effort.
    I think you put your coding in the wrong place.
