Creating conditional shopping cart on woocommerce
-
Hello! First, let me apologize if I’m doing anything incorrect in this forum. I could barely download emails a couple months ago, now I’m taking over developing my website with a crazy custom product. I feel like I have a lot of gaps in knowledge.
So, I sell an incredibly custom shoe product. Every aspect (color, leather type, buttons, laces, stitching, patterns, etc) are variable and offered at different price points. My current theory is to offer each aspect of the boot as a different “product” so I can effectively categorize all the options and images into an understandable concept to the customer. For example, “buttons” is one product and is offered In antler (with variations), coins (with different prices), and custom stamps (different designs, metals, and prices.)
once the customer selects their buttons and boot height into their cart, how can I make sure they can’t check out until ALL of the required products are selected? Basically, they have to choose an option for most of the products I offer before we can accept payment and make their order.
thanks!
