Creating draft posts normally is generating duplicate posts

Looks like maybe Lopo isn’t actively supporting this plugin anymore, but what Im seeing in WP3.8 with current plugin version is that creating a draft post in normal fashion via ‘add new post’ generates another separate draft post. It seems to be happening perhaps when WP attempts to save the draft after I release focus on the title field, then it creates the current draft post. When I go back to the list of all posts, I see a post titled ‘Untitled_73’. I disabled the plugin and this has stopped. Has anyone else seen this phenom?
