More than likely you’re on an unsupported version of PHP (5.5 or lower). We support 5.6 or higher. 5.5 and lower have reached their end of life and while WordPress itself still runs, LifterLMS has a bunch of issues on older PHP versions.

Please contact your host and get upgraded to 5.6 (or, better yet, 7!) and enjoy increased security, performance, and full LifterLMS Support!
