creating install template

  • I set up wordpress blogs on a regular basis and find myself using the same plugins over and over.

    is there a way to package an install so that I can can include my favorite plugins and settings each time I set up a new wordpress blog?

  • I do this
    just grab a wordpress zip you’ll use for installs only and keep on your desktop to upload
    put all plugins you want with the install in the plugins folder
    same with themes
    now when you upload the files and run the install, all you need do is activate the plugins/themes
