Creating Lightbox-style gallery with NextGen and Maxbuttons?

    I’m currently building this page:

    Those three blue buttons in the middle are made with the Maxbuttons plugin:

    What I want to do is allow the user to click the “See The Full Photo Album” button, which will display a NextGen gallery in the style of Lightbox (pops up in front of web page, with darkened background). I’m fairly new to using NextGen, but I believe there is already a setting to have it display as a Lightbox. But how would I have the Maxbutton (which uses a shortcode) to link to a NextGen gallery this way?
