• This has only happened since the upgrade to 4.0.

My blog’s based on music releases so I frequently copy/paste track listings from press releases into articles. Routinely, I quickly delete any numbers at the start of each line (del-del-del, down arrow, repeat), highlight the text and make it into an ordered list. Better for formatting and so on.

However, since the upgrade to 4.0, this no longer works. I paste the text unformatted (CTRL-SHIFT-V), skip down the list to remove the numbers, highlight it, click “numbered list”… and the list turns into one block of text, tabbed in one unit and all under “1”.

To force it to break down enough to create a list, I have to delete the initial numbers, then go through the list hitting “backspace / enter” to, I assume, remove carriage returns and insert “
” line breaks in their stead.

Once I do this I can convert into a numbered list – but it takes longer than it used to for a simple task.

Any reason for this? Or just something that’s slipped through?
