Creating Local Biz Directory

    I’m sure this is perfect for my wish to create a local business directory. I see that I can upload csv files of existing businesses and that there are extensions I can use to enhance capabilities. What I didn’t see was how to give a business owner (of a listing I have uploaded) the option of “claiming” the listing and purchasing a “Premium” listing for a fee that I set.

    I’m sure it can be done, but can you tell me which extension(s) I need in order to do that?

    Apologies for the delay in my reply!!! My children had an important event that required much of my attention.

    Connections does not accept payments for listings. I do not plan on adding such features. I recommend using a membership plugin like Restrict Content Pro to manage membership payments and renewals. This dramatically increases your ability to monetize your site, where a directory can be just one benefit of the user’s membership.

    Other directory plugins do integrate payments, but then you lock yourself into only monetizing your directory, making it very difficult to expand member benefits and further increase your opportunity to monetize.
