creating new pages

  • hello .. i m newbie to WORDPRESS .. currently using VERSION 3.2.1 in which m trying to create a new page ..

    but i have an issue with it .. after i create my NEW PAGE .. by going PAGES -> ADD NEW

    .. my page is getting created by what i have typed in the TITLE of the page is coming as a HEADER also in my post page (content) ..

    suppose i have created ABOUT ME page .. and i have put details in the EDITOR .. my page is getting created by i can see that ABOUT ME texts in <H2> or <h1> tag in my page below (content) also .. which i want to remove ..

    what should i do to remove thiss .. ?

    i have TWENTYELEVEN THEM currently as a defauly theme ..

    please suggest me as m newbie ..

  • start by creating a child theme of Twenty Eleven: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Child_Themes

    it is very important to have an unedited default theme (which is Twenty Eleven in wp3.2) in the wordpress installation, as fallback in case of serious theme problems. also, any customisations of the default theme will be overwritten with your next upgrade of your wordpress version.

    once you got your child theme working, come back for more detailed suggestions. or search the forum as your problem has been aswered many times in the past.
