creating new roles?

    Can this plugin be used to create a new user role that adds permission to create and edit a page, but not to edit other users pages or posts?
    The jump in capabilities between the standard roles of editor and author is too much for a site I’m planning, jumping from ‘can create and publish posts’ straight to ‘can create and publish and edit own pages and posts, and can edit those belonging to anyone else as well’ with nothing between.

    I’ve finally got round to installing the plugin and checking it out. (3.5 beta and other things intervened)

    Yes, I can create new roles with sufficient flexibility to cover my needs (and worked for this purpose with 3.5)
