Creating new site with features of existing site

You could use the duplicator plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicator/ to backup the existing site and create a duplicate elsewhere.

That’s an interesting idea, thanks Steve. I was previously advised that I could use the multisite option in cpanel but I do not see how this would work. Any comments?

Why multisite? Seems like overkill to me.

I don’t know, Steve, as I do not know what the mutlisite option is designed to achieve. I just thought that the person who recommended this knew what they were talking about at the time.
