    Hi,

We are trying to create something like this https://www.calculconversion.com/calculateur-don-bienfaisance.html. Our goal is to provide to our contributors a way to calculate their donation credit for a contribution depending on the amount and the province they live in. We tried, but since the conditional functionalities only work with the paid version we couldn’t go beyond calculating only one type of credit. Can we achieve this with your free version? If so how would we go about doing so?

    Thanks.

    Hello @wrdprssmstr

    Thank you for reaching out!

To achieve your request in the Free version of the plugin you can use JavaScript conditionals in Total field elements.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

By “you can use Javascript conditionals in Total field elements” are you suggesting that we hand-code the functionality our-self?

    Hi,

There is no need to change the scripts of the plugin.

You can add your custom scripts for the total element. For details check the following –> manual. Note, that we are not able to provide scripts from our end, as you need to build custom forms and element formulas with scripts on your end directly.

    Cheers

    Hi,

We were searching a plugin for this so we don’t have to code anything. We would much rather have a UI method to achieve what we want. Can the paid version let us do that? We basically would like to replicate exactly the calculator in the link above without having to create any code in javascript.

    Thanks.

The paid version will also require your personal scripts integration for the element, as your asking could be done with the custom formula and scripts only. There is no ready element according to your request by default

    Cheers

Can’t we just use the conditional function of the paid version to achieve what we want. We would have:

    – 1 input for the donation amount
    – 1 input for the taxable income
    – 1 select input with all the provinces
    – 1 select input with all the provinces but hidden by default
    – 1 total field for the federal credit
    – 1 total field for the provincial credit
    – 1 total field for the cumulative credit

The first select input would contain the federal % credit value and the other hidden select input would contain the provincial % credit value. The displayed select input would control the hidden select input. If a user choose Province 1 in the displayed select input the hidden select input would change (conditionally) for Province 1 also. Than we would calculate the credit totals based on the selected provinces on both select inputs.

Is this possible without having to create any custom script?

    Hello,

If you subscribed to the Pro version of the plugin, please leave your question using the link below and our agents will answer you with great pleasure. Furthermore, it helps us to check the conditionals which you used in detail.
