Creating paypal as nonprofit

    Hi,

    I see there was a similar post by jgold723 a year ago about this, but did not see how to resolve the issue on the forum. I am having the same issue when trying to set up commerce with our nonprofit Paypal account. When we try to associate our non profit business PayPal account, it asks us to associate funds with an individual, SSN, or ITIN.. Our paypal account is nonprofit and has the nonprofit EIN associated with it.

    Is there a way around this or another way to do this? Thanks in advance.

    I’m glad you brought this to our attention, I can see how this issue impacts your ability to connect to your nonprofit PayPal account.

    Upon checking, we’ve already created an internal ticket [ET-1760] to address this issue and I’ve included your specific use case in it to communicate it to our team.

    We prioritize bugs by taking into consideration the number of users impacted as well as how the bug impacts one’s ability to run an event/sell tickets. I don’t have a specific timeline as to when this issue will be resolved, but trust that our team is aware. Our team communicates updates and bug fixes in our newsletter and via our changelog.
