    Hi-
I want to create a popup through my visual composer button element. I see that people are linking the popup maker with the button through creating a ‘custom ID’. On my button settings page, there isn’t an ‘ID’ field. I do see a ‘URL Link’ and ‘ Extra class name’ field. Can this work or am I using the wrong button element?

    Thank you!

It sounds like adding an ‘Extra Class Name’ would be the best solution. This is actually our #1 method found in the Trigger: Click Open doc. Scroll down to Trigger on the Front End and read Method #1.

Just inpupt the CSS class of your popup to the ‘Extra Class Name’ field for the button, and that should work.

    Hope this helps!

Awesome! Thank you for your quick support! I got it to work ??

I have another question…After hitting submit on my popup form, I want my viewer to be directed to another page. Is there a way to do that? Thank you again!

I’m glad it worked out – this is great!

As far as getting your form to forward, there should be a way you can do that using the form plugin you have. If not, let us know what form plugin you are using, and we’ll have to come up with a little custom code to fix it up.
