    Hi there,

I am looking for a way (probably a plugin) that would allow my posts to have different styles applied to them.

That is, post type A would be with in div class A, and post type B would be in div class B. The stylesheet would then dictate how they would look.

It would also be nice if this plugin could change the XHTML/PHP/WordPress functions slightly – for instance, on post type B I would like to make the title of the post link somewhere other than the permalink page.

Finally, I would like to be able to divide these posts into separate archive pages.

I have seen this done on movable type, but never on a WordPress blog. I assume it must have been done somewhere… and someone has created a plugin for it…

If anyone knows of a plugin that can do this, I would love to know about it.

    Regards,
    -Scott

  • If by ‘post type A’ you mean ‘posts in category A’, then you might not need to use a plugin – some category specific PHP added to your theme might do it. See the in_category template tag codex page for an example.
