    I’ve installed the plugin, added secret codes and affiliate IDs as instructed. I can go to a post, type in some search terms and select products. When I hit the Add Shortcode button at the bottom of the screen, it says ‘Creating shortcode. Please wait….’. Nothing more happens, even if it’s left to work on it for 20 minutes. There’s no error code that I can see.

  • I was having a similar problem, I upgraded my site to use v5.6 of PHP to see if that would fix, it then displayed the creating shortcode message briefly, but it still didn’t add the shortcode.

    I then noticed in the console viewer the following error was being reported:
    SCRIPT5009: ‘send_to_editor’ is undefined
    aalb_admin.js (271,3)

    I use the CKEditor plugin on my site, so I deactivated it, and now the Amazon Link Builder plugin works correctly.

    Unfortunately I would like to continue using the CKEditor plugin, so if any Amazon developers are reading, it would be great if you could make it compatible.

    I have the same issue with the plugin hanging when creating a shortode. The Javascript console reports the following error:

    JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
    https://www.wegotserved.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

    I have the same issue here. When I click the “Add Shortcode” button, my debugging console displays the following error:

    We have fixed the issue with shortcode creation dialog hanging in some cases with v1.4.1. Please update to latest version.
