Creating variant_names and variant_values for Pinterest Catalog

  • Hi,

    I generated the Pinterest Feed and uploaded to Pinterest. Events have been setup and they’re firing.

    However, I have this alert which i affecting the health of the catalog:

    “Too few of the Product IDs included in your Page Visit events match the Product IDs in your Catalog”

    “Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Add to Cart events. A Product ID can be any format that you choose as long as it matches the format used by your Catalog”.

    Upon research, it came out that the solution is to have the Variant_names and Variant_values, in addition to item_group_id which is already there.

    I tried to create those two attributes but in vain.

    Kindly help resolve this issue please. For info, I have the premium version of the plugin.

    It will help us understand the issue more clearly which will eventually help us to find a possible solution.

    The error message is in the tag health check report. It can not be downloaded in the similar way catalog issues can be downloaded. I have copied all the report and enclosed it below.

    `Page Visit:

    We are detecting this event, but at least one parameter needs action.
    Product ID.

    Too few of the Product IDs included in your Page Visit events match the Product IDs in your Catalog.

    Add To Cart:

    We are detecting this event, but at least one parameter needs action.
    Product ID

    Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Add to Cart events. A Product ID can be any format that you choose as long as it matches the format used by your Catalog.
