    i have the problem, that f.e. my credit card is declined (though i can pay with it without problems elsewhere) but the credit card of my company does work. (both visa)
    is there a possibility to avoid that other cardnumbers are also declined? or is it possible to switch off the check, as stripe checks the cardnumbers anyway?

    Hi, do you know why your credit card has been declined by Stripe payment gateway? If this is the case you should contact Stripe services about this issue.

    no. i don’t know the reason. i was talking to stripe and they said, that the card, that was declined is not even in their dashboard visible. so it is for sure a matter of the plugin.

    The plugin sends the card details directly to the Stripe API. Stripe then tells the plugin is the payment was accepted or declined.

    The decline is shown in the Stripe payment popup box correct?

    If you log into your Stripe account, do you see the charge declined in the “payments” tab of your Stripe account?

    Are you using sandbox or live?

    yes, in the payment popup box.
    i am live and in the payments tab is no information about the declined charge. just the one i did with another visa-card, that worked.
