The default credit card labels show the formatting as MM/YY; however, it will only accept the date as MM/YYYY. How can I change this to where it shows the correct formatting to the customers?

    Hello @wholewebworks,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I just tested this behavior, but on my vanilla setup, I can use both MM/YY and MM/YYYY for the date field for the card payment option.

Can you tell us how you tested this and how you came to the conclusion that this was not accepted by the plugin? If you can share the error responses or screenshots of the behavior, that could help us.

There is one thing we changed in a recent release; we implemented a new card fields which react a bit differently to date input:?https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/wiki/Testing-features-previews/#how-to-test-hosted-card-fields
However, we still don’t believe this would affect the entered details for this filed and should still accept both option (as it did during my tests).

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing further details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well).

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @wholewebworks,

thank you for opening the private support thread. The error you showed us (MISSING_SHIPING_ADDRESS), makes us believe the issue is not related to the date field in the Advanced Card Processing payment method, but probably to a 3rd party plugin conflict.

We will continue to help you out in the private thread, but will mark this public thread as resolved. If this does end up being related to the date field of our plugin, we can always update this thread afterwards.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
