“Heads up! Braintree (Credit Card) is not fully configured and cannot accept payments.”
This is the message I got after updating my site and plugins to the latest versions. As you may know wordpress had a major update this past week and I believe this is why I’m just not getting this error. Everything worked just fine before now. Please let me know what I can do to resolve this problem at this point. Thank you!

  • Hi @tacocoma,

Thanks for reaching out. So sorry to hear that our plugin is giving you some trouble. Happy to help you with this!

We’ve seen success through the recent WordPress and WooCommerce updates with this plugin, so it certainly should be working as expected.

Would you please tell me a little bit more about the error you are seeing and when it is showing up? Any screenshots you might be able to share would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Marcus

Here is the error I receive every time I open my wordpress dashboard. https://ibb.co/b2dTLNR
And here are a few images of the page that the error takes me to.

Everything below is filled in normally. The only think I could imagine is giving me this problem is applepay. as you can see on the second image link I do have apple pay setup and I imagine something on my site is messing with my applepay compatibility. Just a hunch. Please let me know what you think.

    Hi @tacocoma,

Thank you for taking the time to provide these additional screenshots – that is very helpful!

Based on the screenshots provided, I don’t see any red flags right off the bat. I’ll need a bit more information on what the communication with the payment provider looks like to troubleshoot this issue. Would you please send over a transaction log by following these steps?

    1) Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments, select the gateway, and change the Debug Mode setting to “Save to Log”.
    2) Run another test transaction.
    3) Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and find the log from your transaction. Please note that the log may be in UTC/GMT time, so it may be offset by a few hours.
    4) Then, copy and paste the log file into your response here or into Snippi and include a link here.

Would you please let me know once you’ve had a chance to enable logging and have run another test?

    Thanks,
    Marcus
